Meet your CNA Instructor:
Victoria R. Davis is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of nursing experience. Becoming a nurse was not her first career choice. She believes that she was guided down this wonderful path for a greater purpose. She began her nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and that is where the journey began. A good friend of hers asked if she wanted to go to a vocational school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with her and Victoria agreed. Over the next several years, Victoria continued on her educational journey and became a Registered Nurse (RN). The journey from being a CNA to LPN to RN was not easy, but it was well worth it and if Victoria had to do it over again, she would follow the same path! She has the courage and commitment to be a valuable resource to those who have a heart to serve others. In 2019, she founded Faith Healthcare Training Center (FHTC), an Indiana state-approved nurse aide training program. Since its inception, FHTC has trained nearly 300 students who have successfully passed the state examination and are now Certified Nursing Assistants in Indiana. Victoria takes pride in seeing others accomplish their goals and seeks to pour into her students the same way that her previous instructors poured into her. By being a motivator and resource for aspiring healthcare professionals, Victoria serves her community by preparing future healthcare professionals on how to provide quality care. Victoria holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership. Although, she has a Master degree in nursing she prides herself in giving credit to the skills and knowledge she learned when she was a CNA and LPN. Those skills learned has helped her to the become the wonderful RN that she is today. Outside of her career, she enjoys reading, traveling, thrifting, and being in tune with anything as it relates to nature.
